RBG SUPPORTS STUDENT START-UPS WITH GRANT TO CREWS CENTER FOR ENTREPRENEURSHIP

Reynolds Bone & Griesbeck PLC is proud to announce a four-year commitment to Memphis based Crews Center for Entrepreneurship at University of Memphis.  The Center is a nurturing environment to support University of Memphis entrepreneurs looking to begin a start-up company or create a new piece of technology.  Reynolds Bone & Griesbeck PLC is a Memphis based CPA firm with over 95 years of success providing a wide variety of services including tax, accounting, auditing, risk management, and consulting; RBG has strong ties to the University of Memphis as a long-standing supporter of students and their success after graduation.

The Crews Center for Entrepreneurship, at University of Memphis, will be based out of the former Mason’s Lodge at Walker and Patterson.  The building was originally built in the 1950’s and is currently undergoing renovations, which will transform the space into a world-class venture development lab.  Along with flexible office space, the Crews Center for Entrepreneurship has lab areas for prototype development, advanced technological systems, and a conference room for meetings with potential investors and mentors.

John Griesbeck, managing partner at RBG says “As a firm, we believe it is important that we support the universities where we recruit.  I approached our partner group about making a funding commitment to support the Center and believe the project will enhance entrepreneurial activities of the University and the Memphis business community at large.”

In the spirit of spurring technology, innovation, and entrepreneurship in U of M faculty and students, RBG has pledged a $40,000 donation–$10,000 per year, over a period of four years.¬† This gift reflects the commitment Reynolds Bone & Griesbeck PLC has to the University of Memphis, their staff, as well as the student base through recruiting and success in the accounting industry.
