Benjamin Alexander, CPA

Audit Principal

Benjamin Alexander is an Audit Principal in the firm’s Private and Non-Profit Group. He joined the firm in 2014, the same year he began his career in public accounting, and has built a broad-based practice serving clients across a wide range of industries. Ben is known as a trusted resource for navigating complex accounting and auditing matters, and he is often the go-to professional for solving challenging issues.

Ben provides attest services, including audits, reviews, and compilations, as well as nonattest advisory services, such as general bookkeeping guidance and accounting support for mergers and acquisitions. His industry experience spans manufacturing, distribution, retail, insurance, construction contractors, real estate entities, nonprofit organizations, and employee benefit plans. This diverse background allows him to bring a deep understanding of accounting principles to his work and to offer thoughtful, practical advice to both clients and colleagues.

A Memphis native, Ben earned his Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame in 2014 and is an active member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants. He is also an Eagle Scout, an experience he credits with shaping his leadership style and strong work ethic. Ben attributes his professional success to the support of his family, friends, and coworkers, along with a genuine desire to solve problems and exceed client expectations.

Outside of work, Ben enjoys following the Memphis Grizzlies, has a lifelong love of Star Wars, and—when time allows—enjoys water skiing. He resides in Memphis and values spending time with his close-knit family, including his parents, sister, brother-in-law, niece, and nephew.
