Sims Cauthen joined the firm in 2024 as a Tax Manager, bringing five years of experience in tax
preparation and compliance. A licensed CPA in Mississippi and a Certified Construction Industry
Financial Professional (CCIFP), he specializes in multi–state tax work and has extensive
experience serving clients in the construction industry. Sims takes a practical approach to
problem–solving, helping businesses navigate complex tax regulations while planning for the
future. He believes success comes down to one simple principle: finishing the job.

Originally from Oxford, Mississippi, Sims now lives in Memphis with his wife, Kaitlin, and their
cat, Tucker. He’s an avid sports fan, cheering on Ole Miss athletics and the New Orleans Saints.
When he’s not working or watching a game, he enjoys golfing, biking, cooking, and camping. A
former mountain bike racer in college, Sims still enjoys getting out on the trails whenever he can.
