Erica Smith joined the firm in 2026 as a Principal in the Private and Not–for–Profit Audit practice, bringing over 27 years of public accounting experience. Licensed as a CPA in Arkansas, Mississippi, and Tennessee, she offers audits, reviews, and advisory services to clients across sectors, including employee benefit plans, construction, nonprofits, government, healthcare, and manufacturing.

Prior to joining the firm, Erica began her career in public accounting in 1999. She spent 17 years of her career at a local firm in Batesville, Arkansas, serving a wide range of industries, and, most recently, six years as a Partner at a regional firm in Memphis, Tennessee, focusing on audit and advisory work for nonprofits, construction contractors, and employee benefit plans.

Erica is known for building long–term relationships with family–owned and small– to mid–sized businesses. She delivers exceptional service and practical guidance and is a trusted advisor whose approach is grounded in integrity.

Erica holds a BS in Business Management from Arkansas State University and an MBA in Accounting from the University of Phoenix. She is a member of the AICPA, Tennessee, and Arkansas Societies of CPAs, and serves on various committees and advisory boards within those associations.

Outside of work, she enjoys attending professional and minor league sporting events and spending time with family and friends.
