Emma LaBarreare is a Tax Intern who joined the firm during the Spring 2026 internship program. She is currently pursuing her degree at Mississippi State University and is expected to graduate in May 2026.

Emma resides in Collierville, Tennessee, where she is also a native. Known for being highly organized, she attributes her success to her determination, honesty, goal–driven mindset, and strong organizational skills. Emma was inspired to pursue a career in accounting through her love of numbers and math, a passion she developed early on. With encouragement from her family, she explored accounting and quickly discovered it was a perfect fit for her interests and strengths.

A strong work ethic has been a defining part of Emma’s life. Growing up, her parents encouraged responsibility by teaching her to work for what she wanted, which helped shape her professionalism, accountability, and ability to work effectively with the public. She believes these experiences prepared her well for the real–world workplace.

Outside of work and academics, Emma enjoys reading, playing volleyball for fun, shopping with her mom and friends, and spending time with family and friends. A fun fact many may not know is that she played competitive volleyball in high school. She loves the people in her community and is a devoted Mississippi State fan. Emma also enjoys traveling to Florida, watching The Parent Trap, and listening to Morgan Wallen. At home, she has two family dogs—Summer, a golden retriever, and Boone, a white lab—as well as a family cat named Rocky
