Emma Benzing joined the firm in 2025 as an Audit Intern, bringing a passion for learning and a proactive mindset to her role. With a background in accounting, she officially started her career in July 2024, gaining hands–on experience as a Tax Intern at FedEx. During her time there, she assisted with tax functions at a staff level and played a key role in department communications.

Currently residing in Germantown, TN, Emma is a proud member of the Tennessee Society of CPAs (TSCPA). She is pursuing her degree at the University of Memphis, where she has been actively involved in the Fogelman Women in Leadership organization since January 2023 and is a participant in the Emerging Leaders Scholarship Program.

Known by colleagues as an eager and enthusiastic individual, Emma describes herself as optimistic and credits her mother’s passion for learning as a key driver of her success. She was drawn to the field of accounting by its ever–evolving nature and the opportunity for continuous learning. Her personal service philosophy, “Offer everyone the grace you think you deserve,” reflects the thoughtfulness she brings to her work and relationships.

When she’s not at work, you can find Emma piecing together intricate puzzles, hunting for unique home décor treasures at thrift stores, or chasing her favorite music at concerts. She’s also a proud dog mom to Grout, her playful two–year–old Miniature Pinscher who keeps her on her toes!
