Danielle “Dani” Villarin joined RBG in 2026 as an Audit Intern in the firm’s private and not-for-profit practice. A Memphis native, Dani earned her Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Memphis in May 2026 and is a member of the Gilman Alumni network. Prior to joining RBG, she completed an accounting internship with a nonprofit organization in Dublin, Ireland, where she gained hands-on experience with reconciliations, accounting software, and financial recordkeeping.

Originally pursuing a degree in finance, Dani discovered her passion for accounting after excelling in several accounting courses and building a strong mentorship with one of her professors, who encouraged her to make the switch. Colleagues describe her as dependable and eager to learn, qualities she attributes to her faith in God and the unwavering support of her family and friends.

Outside of work, Dani is an avid film enthusiast who enjoys exploring movies of all genres and analyzing them long after the credits roll. Her favorite film is Good Will Hunting, and she is a fan of the band The Fray. When traveling, she especially enjoys visiting the Philippines and Dublin. Closer to home, she loves spending time at Shelby Farms, one of her favorite places in the Memphis area.
