Carson Young joined the firm in 2023 as a Scanning Intern and now works as a Intern in the Tax
Department. He primarily focuses on preparing tax returns for individuals and partnerships,
with a strong ability to navigate third–party financial statements from firms like Raymond James
and Charles Schwab. Carson is always looking to learn and grow in his field, crediting his success
to his family’s support and encouragement. He believes in taking advantage of every
opportunity, living by the motto, “You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take.”

Born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee, Carson now lives in Germantown. Outside of work, he
enjoys golfing, lifting weights, and playing video games. He also enjoys rooting for the New
England Patriots and traveling to Birmingham to visit his brother. Carson has a dog, Pepper,
who is a lab–chow mix.
