Emily McRae joined the firm as an Audit Intern in 2026. She supports audit professionals throughout the engagement process, assisting with fieldwork and helping identify risk and potential errors within company financial statements. Emily enjoys working in a process–driven environment while collaborating closely with teams, which drew her to the audit profession.
Emily is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Business with a concentration in Accounting and Finance at Rhodes College, where she is set to graduate in May 2027. During her time at Rhodes, she has been involved with Alpha Omicron Pi and is a member of the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants (TSCPA).
Prior to joining the firm, Emily served as a Wealth Management Intern with Gulf Coast Wealth Management during the summer of 2025, where she provided support to advisors and assisted with client–related initiatives. She attributes much of her professional growth to the mentors she has had both in the workplace and in academic settings.
Known for her enthusiastic, driven, and diligent approach, Emily believes that obligation means showing up because you want to, not because you have to. She values teamwork and continuous learning and is committed to delivering thoughtful, high–quality work.
Emily resides in Memphis, Tennessee, where she enjoys exploring local coffee shops. Originally from Mandeville, Louisiana, she spends her free time reading, hiking, baking, and watching movies. She is a fan of the LSU Tigers, loves Gilmore Girls, and counts Little Women among her favorite books. Emily shares her home with her cat, Belle, and enjoys traveling anywhere warm when she gets the chance.
