Joyce Ruggeri, CPA, joined RBG in 2025 as a Tax Principal, bringing over 18 years of distinguished experience in tax compliance, strategic tax planning, and financial leadership. Based in Palm City, Florida, Joyce delivers tailored tax solutions to a diverse clientele, including closely held businesses, high–net–worth individuals, trusts, and estates. Her expertise spans multiple industries, providing innovative strategies that optimize financial outcomes and ensure compliance with complex tax regulations.

Joyce graduated summa cum laude from Youngstown State University in 2008, earning a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in accounting. During her academic career, she was an active member of Beta Alpha Psi, the international honor society for accounting, finance, and information systems. As a licensed CPA in Florida, Joyce maintains active memberships in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants (FICPA), and the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants (TSCPA), staying at the forefront of industry trends and best practices.

Her professional journey includes a notable eight–year tenure as a Tax Partner at Carr, Riggs & Ingram, LLC, where she led tax compliance and planning initiatives for businesses and individuals, while also providing outsourced controllership services to enhance operational efficiency. Prior to that, Joyce served five years as a Tax Manager at Proctor, Crook, Crowder & Fogal, where she honed her skills in managing complex tax engagements. She began her career as a Senior Associate at Hill Barth & King, LLC, spending five years building a strong foundation in tax and accounting services.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Joyce is passionate about embracing life’s simple joys. An avid traveler, reader, and beach enthusiast, she cherishes spending quality time with her family playing board games and creating lasting memories. Joyce resides in Palm City, which she affectionately calls “paradise” for its endless sunshine, alongside her husband, Tom, and their beloved cat, Hazel Grace. A proud mother of three grown sons and grandmother to two grandchildren, Joyce brings warmth and dedication to both her personal and professional endeavors.
