William “Hugh” Callicutt
Audit Intern
Hugh Callicutt is an Intern who joined the firm in 2026. He is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy at the University of Mississippi.
Hugh resides in Oxford, Mississippi, where he is also a native. He is known for being hardworking and disciplined, traits shaped by both his academic pursuits and his hands–on professional experience. Hugh is an active member of Army ROTC and serves as a Cadet in the Army National Guard, demonstrating a strong commitment to leadership, responsibility, and service.
Prior to joining the firm, Hugh gained extensive experience working on construction sites from an early age. His work included operating equipment, installing stormwater, sewer, and water piping on large dirt–moving projects, and performing manual labor during vertical construction phases. Working in demanding outdoor environments helped him develop resilience, teamwork skills, and a strong appreciation for hard work.
Hugh was drawn to accounting because of its strong return on investment and the practical, transferable skills it provides across nearly every industry. He values the versatility of the profession and its ability to create long–term career opportunities.
Outside of work and school, Hugh enjoys hunting, building projects, playing guitar, and spending time outdoors. He appreciates the diverse food scene in Oxford and is a loyal Ole Miss Rebels football fan. In his free time, he enjoys watching The Lord of the Rings trilogy, listening to Flatland Cavalry, and traveling—Idaho being his favorite destination.
