Tyrus was inspired to pursue accounting after transitioning from college athletics and focusing on building a long–term career path. While initially exploring business and finance, he found accounting to be the best fit due to its strong career outlook, versatility, and flexibility to pivot into related fields as his goals evolve.
A defining influence in Tyrus’s life has been playing football, which instilled a deep appreciation for teamwork, accountability, and servant leadership. He values working toward shared goals and believes in leading by example prioritizing the success of the group over individual recognition. His favorite quote, “Nothing changes, if nothing changes,” reflects his belief in taking action and being the change needed to achieve meaningful progress.
