Sam developed an early interest in accounting through his love of mathematics and the influence of his mother, who is an accountant. Growing up around the profession sparked his curiosity about the business world, ultimately leading him to choose accounting as his field of study to gain a deeper understanding of how organizations operate and succeed.

Known for his easygoing nature, Sam brings a positive attitude and strong work ethic to his role. Rather than a single defining moment, he credits his early initiative to take on summer jobs—such as cutting grass in the Memphis heat—as a formative experience. These roles instilled in him the value of discipline, perseverance, and hard work, qualities that continue to shape his professional approach.

Outside of work, Sam enjoys staying active and outdoors. His interests include hunting, going to the gym, and wake surfing. He is also a fan of the Arkansas Razorbacks and enjoys watching shows like Landman. Musically, he gravitates toward country artists such as Jason Aldean and Flatland Cavalry. A self-proclaimed food enthusiast, Sam appreciates the diverse food options in his local area, and he enjoys traveling—especially to destinations like Turks & Caicos.
