Employee Benefit Plans

When the well-being of your employees and business are at stake, you need trustworthy and experienced professionals who are devoted to you. With annually changing rules and regulations, benefit plans are increasingly more complex. That’s why we take our training seriously so that you have cost-effective advice and strategy for your staff.

Our Employee Benefit Plan (or EBP) Audit Team believes planning should be efficient and effective. Each team member receives specialized Continuing Professional Education (CPE) directly related to EBP auditing, with most attending either the Tennessee Society of CPA's EBP Conference each April or the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) National EBP Conference each May. With RBG being a member of the AICPA's Employee Benefit Plan Audit Quality Center, we utilize the most current and effective audit techniques to address the increasing risks involved with EBPs. The audit senior manager who leads RBG's EBP niche is uniquely qualified as she has  obtained the AICPA Advanced Defined Contribution Plan Audit Certification.

  • DOL Limited-Scope Audits (ERISA compliant)
  • Audits of Defined Contribution Plans (401(k), profit sharing plans, ESOP, etc.)
  • Audits of Defined Benefit Plans (pension plans)
  • Audits of Health and Welfare Plans
  • Compliance with DOL, ERISA, and IRS Rules and Regulations
  • While most EBP audits are limited-scope in nature, we also perform full-scope audits when required
